Argenteuil is the sub-prefecture of the Val d'Oise département in the Île de France region, in the northwest suburbs of Paris. It is renowned for being a hotbed of Impressionism. Painter Claude Monet was a frequent visitor, and painted much of his work here. Argenteuil is also the birthplace of painter Georges Braque, who was born here in 1882.

- IMGP 2 Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris à Argenteuil! The Urban Valley program from Foncière Atland has been selected for the development of the Seine banks site in Argenteuil.
