Bois Colombes is a commune bordering Paris in the La Défense district, to the northwest of the capital. It is located in the Hauts de Seine department, in the Île de France region. Founded only in 1896, it is one of the most recent communes in its département. In 2019, Bois Colombes had a population of 28,841, spread over 1.92 km², with a density of 15,021 inhabitants per square kilometer.
