Courbevoie is a commune in the Hauts-de-Seine department, to the west of Paris. Bordered to the south-east by the Seine, the town is famous for having hosted events at the 1900 Olympic Games (swimming, water polo, rowing), as well as for the part of the La Défense business district that extends into it.
